Times are good, our 401k's are performing beyond belief. I now day trade on the stock market, I am kicking ass, besides oral sex isn't really sex anyway, so lets not upset the apple cart. Shame on you America! I, Daryl Hunter, an agnostic, with a strong sense of right and wrong hereby Censure the citizens of this great land for, 1) Endorsing a morally bankrupt William Jefferson Clinton. 2) For making decisions and endorsements and closing a blind eye to glaring facts because Wall Street is setting new highs and you don't want to upset the apple cart. 3) Compromising, subjugating and bankrupting your own morals for a vote of confidence by voting your pocketbook ahead of truth. 4) Publicly voicing toleration of perjury (a felony) therefor contradicting the lessons you teach your children. Your children are watching and we all know our children are always looking for justification of their own present or future transgressions. We must not give them the tools they intuitively seek to justify wrong doing. It has always been an assumption of mine that people of faith hold a higher moral ground than myself, but so much for assumptions. You have all now taught me to assume that "faith" relies to much on forgiveness therefore giving everyone of "faith" an out in the event of their own mediocrity of value, transgressions, or tolerance there of. There for freeing them of the responsibility of consistent moral conviction. I would like to ask all Clinton endorsers. If you were to rate felonies on a scale of one to ten. What level of felonious behavior is acceptable for a President of the United States of America to engage in? One of several grave crimes, such as murder, rape, or burglary, punishable by a more stringent sentence than that given for a misdemeanor. I have to admit that I am not a legal scholar but my understanding of the above definition is, A felony is punishable by a more stringent sentence than that given for a misdemeanor. Now I am just a simple country boy but wouldn't that categorize a felony in the High Crimes category, being more serious than Misdemeanors? Below is the dictionary definition of perjury. per0ju0ry (pûr2jõ-rT) n., pl. per0ju0ries. 1. Law. The deliberate, willful giving of false, misleading, or incomplete testimony under oath. 2. The breach of an oath or a promise. -per0ju2ri0ous (põr-jÜr2T-õs) adj. -per0ju2ri0ous0ly adv. If you look closely you may notice that part of the above definition classifies Misleading under oath as infact perjury and William Jefferson Clinton has admitted to misleading under oath, therefore admitting perjury. Perjury is a felony! Upon conviction of a felony William Jefferson Clinton will no longer be allowed to vote. Is it possible we as a people are giving a vote of confidence to a man that in the future will not be allowed by law to vote in a local school board election? When I voted for Clinton in 1992 expected him to vote like a Democrat. When I voted for Dirk Kempthorne, Mike Crapo, Helen Chenowith and Craig Thomas in 1994 I expected them to vote like Republicans. All this talk about partisan division should be no surprise nor a problem on a devisive issue like we face. Republicans and Democrats are fundamentally different and we shouldn't expect a zebra to vote like a horse, changing his stripes by responding to a dubious public opinion poll or pressure and accusations from a fundamentally different point of view. I also believe that our legislators should vote their own mind and concience, unincumbered by a biased press, pressure by fellow legislators, a charismatic President, fear of political retribution or vendictive retaliation from any of the above. Of or relating to variation of intensity, as in musical sound. Our Founding fathers in their infinite wisdom created a dynamic document in the Constitution of the United States of America. As knowledgeable men they knew that times change in ways they realized they could not visualize from a 1776 point of view so they crafted the Bill of Rights and the foundation for future constitutional amendments. As a dynamic Document in our stewardship it can be ignored and the dynamics of the constitution will follow a road I am sure cognizant citizens wouldn't want it to follow. Or we can stand up for the rule of law and the constitution and bolster it's strength for the security our children. Everywhere we look today we witness a decadence in America we detest. However we must realize we are all collectively responsible for it's exponential growth due to a self absorbed nation full of minor apathy's that shape the society we create for ourselves and posterity. I say it is time for us to all to take more responsibility and see if we can see our way through to the high road, because I believe that the high road is the one we all want to see through our rear view mirror, or to look back on with 20/20 hindsight. Listen closely Americans. The reason our republic elects representatives to represent us in Washington is we have seen fit to choose someone we trust to wade through the quagmire of complicated decision making you and I either don't have the time, inclination, capability or interest to do for ourselves. It is of the utmost importance to let our legislators make their decisions based first, the rule of law so we don't compromise our Constitution. Second on the voice of their constituency, that they receive by phone, mail, e-mail, town hall meeting itc. Not by Harris, Gallop, ABC, CNBC, Geraldo or Rush opinion poles. We also in times like these need to look into ourselves and take a personal inventory of our own values and the values we in turn show our children by example. If the inventory of your own personal values and the example you wish to show your children are something you are proud of, contact your representatives and let them know where you stand so they can make the best decision for the Constitution of the United States of America and you, the constituency.
