After reviewing your web site and considering your issues I have concluded that you are Democrats in name alone because you probably needed the -D behind your name to get elected in your home districts. However now that you are already in Congress pushing important conservative legislation concerning the our national interest, I believe that now you should drop the charade and join the rest of us conservatives in the Republican Party. Consider this, on 01-20-2001 we will be swearing in George W. Bush. I am confident that the Republicans will carry the House and Senate as well, due to the aftermath of Bill Clinton sullying the integrity of the Democratic party. The Blue Dog Coalition's conservative legislation will be much easier to promote and sell to other conservatives than it will be to the Socialism Democrats who pay only lip service to debt reduction. The Republican Party could benefit from a conservative view from a different perspective and since the Republican platform is more fiscally conservative than the Democrats it would make a better platform to push this very important legislation. It was never mentioned on your web site however, conservatives being conservatives I would assume that privately you share the Republican concern over Bill Clinton's behavior, corruption, lack of ethics and probable treason. And think of the relief of not being associated with the moral medicocrity of minority leader Richard Gephardt, lead dog of Bill Clintons impeachment pep rally. Citizens For A Freer America hopes to incorporate your voice into the Republican Party but it would be more effective if your own voice resounded from inside the Republican Party.
