Scotty was an Ironworker by trade. Grandson Gene remembers him as the kindest man he ever knew. he was very supersitous, he loved cartoons, and was amazxingly constitant. he arrived at home at the same time every day within minutes ,unless of course a black cat had crossed his path which left him no option than to take the route around that particular block.

Scotty was a good third baseman. That is how Leo Saunders got Scotty a job at the copper smelter in Bisbee AZ during the Depression. Leo was captain of the baseball team. Scotty was a supurb athlete and had played in the Texas leagues,
