| Attention
Democrats, take off your blinders, as a news junkie
all I hear from liberals is how Bush is destroying
the economy. 911 isn't even an economic factor for
you, as Bush can't be blamed for it although some
have tried.
In
1997 Alan Greenspan warned investors of irrational
exuberance and we didn't listen. Early in 1999 Alan
Greenspan started raising interest rates to slow
the economy down, an attempt to arrest inflation.
Unfortunately this coincided with the price of oil
tripling. This spike in oil prices would have slowed
the economy without Greenspan's help and vice versa.
We got double wammied. Hence the recession that
started in March 2000, nine months before Bush took
office.
911
t-boned a struggling recovery and sent the airline
and travel industry for a tailspin. Oh anthrax remember
that, I don't think that helped the economy either.
Liberals
hate big business, attention Democrats, without
big business we would be Mexico. Big business is
big because they create so many jobs. Big business
wants to be bigger so they can create more jobs.
Let's accommodate business large and small not cripple
them. It is unimaginable that criminal CEO's confided
in Bush and Leiberman what felonious flakes they
were while contributing to their campaigns.
The
rust belt of the northeast missed out on much of
the prosperity of the 90's because their strong
unions protected unproductive ways of workers who
earned top wages, consequently the engine that drove
their economy, big business went elsewhere.
Democrats
are socialists but most don't realize it. Never
has there been a social(ism) program you didn't
like i.e. socialism security, socialism medicine,
etc. Just a reminder, socialism and its big government
have broken the bank everywhere it has been tried.
The
resiliency and optimism of the American people
have negated many of the ill effects of the
obstacles mentioned above. Lets quit putting
forth imbecile's arguments and lies against
our leader and quit talking down the economy.
Pessimism is contagious and dangerous when
our countries financial well being pivots on
consumer confidence.
