The Eco-tally-ban
By Daryl L. Hunter

The Eco-tally-ban is a loose knit coalition of environmental group cells of leftist wackos who's agenda appears to be to end multiple use of America's public lands. Their goal is to tally up as many bans as possible inhibiting America's ability to recreate in our national forests, parks and BLM lands, hence the name.

My analogy of the Eco-tally-ban is in reference to the Afghani Taliban's morals police (the Ministry for the Prevention of Vice and Promotion of Virtue) that enforced their idiotic anti-fun and joy dogma. Our Eco-tally-ban has a religion like passion for earth preservation as they perceive it. An admirable passion if their argument was based in science tempered with empathy and thoughtful vision which it isn't.

I have caught some flack for the comparison, and it has offended some. One letter claimed offense as America had just fought a war against the Taliban. My comparison is for Taliban's unreasonable killjoy policies plainly illustrated by the media after 911.

In retrospect the Eco-tally-bans's monkey wrenching anarchist saboteurs have killed more Americans than the Taliban considering that it was Al Qaeda that blew up the World Trade Center. Another analogy can be drawn between the Eco-tally-ban and the Taliban. The Taliban enforced their dogma with such fervor that they didn't care how their dictates financially crippled their society as the Eco-tally-ban doesn't care about the financial devastation they intend to inflict on their communities with their wish list of dictates. If I offend, so be it as it is only retaliation for their offense on my sensibilities.

It is my hope that my only tool, incisive inflammatory hyperbole will trigger introspection of my adversary and as that is predestined to fail my second hope is to expose them for what they are, myopic ideologically challenged misguided crusaders who possess a blatant disregard for community.

Soon The Eco-tally-ban will want to outlaw kite flying because a kite might hit an eagle in the ass.

Another Bogus Eco-tally-ban Anti-snowmobile Rally
By Daryl L. Hunter

The Eco-Tally-ban is gathering in West Yellowstone on President's day weekend for what appears to be an annual press junket where they show up to tell their lies to an invited press corp. The Eco-tally-ban is hell bent on ruining West Yellowstone's $85 millon snowmobile industry, it would put most of the town out of business as it is touted as the snowmobile capitol of the world.
One more nail in the coffin of snowmobiling
By Dave Hurwitz
I can guarantee you that the extreme green groups do whatever they can to lock snowmobilers out of our public lands. When I was at the forest service I-90 Wilderness meeting in North Bend on January 16th, it appeared to me that the Washington Wilderness Coalition had shipped in a bus load of high school kids to submit comments and also to give the impression that more people support the Wilderness designation than people against this proposal.
Heli-skiing Ban
By Daryl L. Hunter
I would like to thank the Eco-tally-ban for once again marginalizing themselves by putting forth an imbecile's argument to further their anti multiple use agenda of the peoples playground, our national forests and parks.
Eco-tally-ban's Junk Science
By Daryl L. Hunter
I once was a pawn for the Eco-tally-ban. As time went on the Eco-tally-ban's junk science became evident......................
Snowmobile Ban
By Daryl L. Hunter
Tally up another one for the National Park Service cell of the Eco-tally-BAN. They scored a major public relations coup by their announcement that they have acquired respirators for the workers at the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. A brilliant idea to further their bogus self-serving agenda to remove snowmobiles from Yellowstone depriving nearly a quarter of a million Americans a year the opportunity to see Yellowstone in winter.
The Value Of Wilderness
By Daryl L. Hunter - editor Upper Valley press
I grew up a lover of nature and have a great appreciation of it. I am also a conservationist. What separates me from the environmental left (Eco-tally-ban) is a sense of fair play, compromise and the belief in multiple use. We need pristine wilderness areas as well as mining, grazing, timber production and ATV areas. I wrote this article in support of wilderness before the enviromental left turned me into a very vocal opponate of these selfish environmental leftists hell bent on ruining our country in the name sucker fish and such.
The Canadoan Lynx Hoax
It seems that the Canadian Lynx has found itself on the government's endangered list. The government has been conducting another of its famous studies about this creature, involving 57 national forests in 16 states. Apparently, the scarcity of the lynx in these areas considered to be its natural habitat is the cause of the endangered listing. Then in December of last year, the non-profit Center For The Defense Of Free Enterprise went public with information that seven government employees had planted lynx hairs in Washington State
Firefighters die so fish won't!
"Firefighters struggling to contain a blaze in central Washington State that ultimately killed four of their own were hampered in their efforts by a federal policy to protect endangered fish, Fox News has learned. "Firefighters were unable to douse the deadly fire in Okanogan National Forest in Winthrop, Wash., in July because of delays in granting permission for fire-fighting helicopters to use water from nearby streams and rivers protected by the Endangered Species Act, according to sources close to the fire. High and Dry in the Klamath Basin
By William F. Jasper

"This isnÁt about saving endangered species or the environment," says Charles Bridges, a retired soft drink bottler who lives in the town of Klamath Falls. "It's about control, taking the land away from the people, Çre-wilding the land,Á going back to 1492. ItÁs all part of that UN Earth Summit, the Biodiversity Treaty, the Wildlands Project, etc. These green extremists donÁt want us here." Rural and small town people all over America are coming face to face with this ugly reality.
Enviromental Extremists want no fishing zones
Recreational fishing is under attack as never before . . .attack by the feds and by radical environmentalists. Your CCA has grown accustomed to fighting ĺ and winning ĺ battles against those who plunder our marine resources. But todayÁs battles are against those who insist that no one be allowed to use our public resources at all. . .not for commercial fishing nor even for family fishing fun.

Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund
Earthjustice is a non-profit public interest law firm dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this earth at the expence of those that have been living in those places for generations by farming, ranching, logging etc.(see Klamath Basin) One could assume that they are Earth Firsters.
